Grade 2 Math Grade 2 has been focusing on skip counting to 100 by 5’s and 10’s, and through the use of coins. Last week, students had the opportunity to buy candy from their Elf, "Saint." It was a really cool way for them to practice skip counting to 100 using a variety of ways through different coins to make the total needed to “buy” the treat that Saint was selling in his store. Students were all able to create the different sums under 100 that they needed with their coins. Amazing! #stflearning #stfspirit

Today marks the second week of Advent 💜💜

STF Staff completed a Secret Santa toy exchange this afternoon with all toys being donated to support families in our community though the Magic of Christmas. “It is more blessed to give than to receive” Acts 20:35 #STFFaith

Today marks the first Sunday of Advent. Advent is a time of preparation for the coming of Jesus into the world. Catholics use the four Sundays and weeks of Advent to prepare and remember the real meaning of Christmas. The candles on our Advent wreaths symbolize four virtues, Hope, Love, Joy and Peace. The candles are lit each week, in that order, beginning today. 💜💜💜💜💜 #STFFaith

Grade 8s learned how to use microscopes this week and completed a Field of View diagram. Great work, Grade 8’s! #STFLearning
