Congratulations to our Junior High Band students! Today they were a part of an in-school workshop through the Alberta International Band Association. We were very lucky to have esteemed music educator, Dr. Wendy McCallum from the University of Brandon working with our students today. Our St Francis students were models of excellent behavior, and they learned a lot during the one-hour workshop. #STFLearning #STFFineArts #STFBand

We have posted the optional $27 dollar charge to each child's School Cash Online account where you can opt to purchase it. Yearbooks will be available for pick-up in early September, we will deliver the Grade 9 orders to HTA if that is where your Grade 9 child attends high school, or mail them to you if they attend high school elsewhere. Mrs. Bilawchuk’s Grade 4 students worked hard to learn about Inclined Planes and Levers in Science, and they got to showcase the pinball machines they built with their Grade 1 learning buddies as well as Mrs. Atkinson and Mr. Schreiber. So much learning and joy! 🤩 #STFLearning

Mrs. Sziva’s Grade 5’s worked very hard during their Science Electricity unit and were excited to showcase their electricity games to their Gr. 2 friends. As well as Mr. Schreiber and Mrs. Atkinson. Learning is fun! #STFLearning

Congratulations to Mrs. Diana Atkinson, our beloved Principal, who will be dearly missed as she takes on her new assignment of Principal at Holy Trinity Academy in Okotoks. We're pleased to know that our students will be reunited with a familiar face when they finish Gr. 9 and move on to High School!

The Kindergarteners are celebrating Lent by praying with their gifted Prayer Bears! They have named their bears after Saints and are excited to use these prayer bears at home to bring Lent alive by praying for others in need ♥️ #STFFaith
