Throughout December, Grade 3s enjoyed learning about different ways people celebrate Christmas around the world!

Transportation Update: Thursday, Dec. 22 6:05 am: Our school is open, but due to extremely cold temperatures and severe wind chills, buses will not run again today. This includes both in-town and rural routes. Students and staff driving to school should use extra caution and plan for additional travel time. Mr. Leidl and our Chief Deputy Superintendent Mr. Behm came to visit the grade 4 students while they decorated gingerbread houses this afternoon. We are blessed to be part of a community that is filled with so much joy and friendship.

Grade 5 students were busy engineers this afternoon as they assembled the ever challenging construction of gingerbread houses!

Grade 3 Gatto had a festive afternoon of decorating ice cream cone Christmas trees. One more day until Christmas holidays!!! 🎅🏼 🎄

Math is more fun when marshmallows and hot chocolate are involved!

With all of us having to stay indoors, we got creative with some of our activities. Grade 8 buddies created Nativity storybooks for Kindergarten students with accompanying activities!

Congratulations to all our elementary Pace e Bene Award winners! Today we recognized those students who consistently demonstrate the virtues of gratitude, peace and charity. #SFAFaith

We had serious games of chess happening this afternoon! Multi-grade championships. A great preview of our new and upcoming chess club!

Warmed our hearts to watch and listen as the grade 7 students read their favourite Christmas stories to their grade 1 buddies. Nothing like cozying up with a good book in your pjs! #SFALiteracy
