TRANSPORTATION UPDATE 6:15 am – December 08, 2023 All of our schools are open, but some rural routes might not run due to icy conditions and accumulation of snow. Although conditions appear to have improved, significant snowfall and drifting on rural roads has created unsafe driving conditions. We expect in-town buses to run in all communities, but we anticipate that road conditions might cause some to run late. Even where we initially determine that rural buses can travel, individual bus drivers have the authority to cancel routes if they determine that local conditions may be unsafe. In the case that a route is cancelled, Southland Transportation will contact families. Students and staff driving to school should use extra caution and plan for additional travel time. Please do not leave children unattended at bus stops, and please ensure that they are dressed appropriately for the conditions. CTR will continue to monitor the road conditions throughout the day. The Jr C boys volleyball team enjoyed their pizza party today!!! 🏐 🍕

The grade ones were so excited to spend some time with their grade eight buddies! We even enjoyed some hot chocolate! Our little ones look up to our big kids so much!

We are so happy to have our kindergarten, grade 1 and 2 Christmas concert tonight! Good luck students, your teachers are so proud of you!!

Yesterday we celebrated our Pace e Bene award winners for the virtues of peace, gratitude and charity! Congratulations students, we are so very proud of you!!

Junior C Girls Volleyball team finished the season with a Bronze medal. Well done girls, you played hard and improved so much! It was a fun season! 🏐 🌪️

Congratulations to our Junior C boys who took home gold, and the banner for the foothills division!! Way to go team and thank you to Mr. Walton and Ms. Schwenk for being awesome coaches! 🏆🥇

This weekend was Senior Secret Service delivery day! The kindergarten and grade one classes all “adopted” a senior to buy gifts for this Christmas. There was a surprise visit with Laurie Locher our school council chair who volunteers for the special program! Thank you to the families that donated to this special cause.
