Grade 4, 5 and 6 students have been working collectively to raise money for our school’s Lenten challenge to raise $1000.00 for our sister school in Tanzania. Students will be participating in a read-a-thon on Friday where they will take a moment to appreciate the value of education and participate in activities designed to raise awareness of the challenges experienced by students at the school we have partnered with. Jack has raised $150.00 so far!

The good news keeps coming! Congratulations to Austyn Harper’s team for winning Regionals!!

Congratulations to our Grade 6 Band students who achieved SUPERIOR STANDING- highest honours - at the Strathmore Band Festival! Thank you to Mrs. Stearn, Grade 6 Team, and all parents who came out to cheer on our students. We are so proud!

We love celebrating student achievements! Congratulations to Mathias Hardy, Jacksen Cutforth and Jacob Derdall who won the provincial championship this weekend!

Classes throughout the school have been excited to welcome the baby chicks from Mrs. Bruketa’s Grade 1 class. We’ve learned we need to be very gentle with them!

Our grade 6 boys represented us well today too! A huge thank you to Mr. A, Ms. Campbell and Mrs. Hulme for coaching!

Congratulations to our Grade 6 Girls Basketball Team who represented our school at a district event today! Thank you to Mrs. Threlfall and Mrs. Olson for coaching!

Grade twos got a special presentation from Mr. Dexter to learn about his experiences living in Nunavut and the North of Canada. This was a perfect finish to their Inuit studies, and learning about the Northern Territory!

Students tried to convince the @okotoks_oilers that while they might not be up to speed on their hockey skills, they could beat them in a game of four square at recess!

We were very fortunate to welcome some special guests from the @okotoks_oilers - Dean Spak #19 & Jackson Rowland #16. Thanks so much for visiting our grade 2 classrooms!

Nova from Kindergarten brought her race car to school today for her Citizen of the Week presentation on her interests. Students were super excited to get behind the wheel! Fortunately we took the keys 😉

The girls basketball team played an amazing game and worked so hard. Only falling behind by 5 baskets! So proud of their second place win for the Division!
