School Council

St. Francis of Assisi Academy has a vibrant parent community and an incredibly dedicated group of individuals, parents, staff, and trustees, which serve on STFA’s School Council. School council members are advisory to the Principal and offer advice and feedback about matters relevant to the school. 

School Council representatives encourage parent participation in their child’s education and keep the larger parent community informed about events, initiatives, and matters that affect our school and our school division. Our School Council also fosters our Catholic school community and works together to provide supports so that the best possible Catholic education is accessible to all of our students. 

Since our schools' inception, School Council, through its various committees, have promoted events that build and strengthened our community as well as provided resources for our students, including the massive undertaking of fundraising for and building our school playgrounds. School Council sub- committees also oversee programs such as Hot Lunch, Fundraising, Social and Faith events. 

We are very blessed to have such great parent support and involvement at St. Francis of Assisi Academy. We thank all parents for their involvement and support!
